‘Anemonefish are notoriously shy, and it took me the best part of three hours (and multiple tanks of oxygen) to get this shot in Lanyu, Taiwan! For a picture like this it’s important to research your subject and try to anticipate its next move – even then, it still takes a fair amount of time and luck to get results. Anemonefish reach about 4.3in in length and make their homes in multi-coloured sea anemones.’
